The Department of Social Services (DSS)
This website provides services and assistance to promote healthy family relationships and gives families the opportunities to take part in their local communities. FaHCSIA also helps families experiencing changes to their financial and social circumstances.

Early Childhood Australia
Is a peak body with ‘a voice for young children’. Current information and news for parents and educators is available and readily updated. The ECA code of ethics followed by NurtureOne Children’s Centres is found here.

Department of Local Government and Communities
Encompasses the Child Care Licensing and Standards Unit who oversee the implementation of the child care regulations in all WA child care centres.

The Working with Children Check
Is a comprehensive criminal record check for certain people working with children in Western Australia. The Working with Children Check aims to increase the safety of children in our community by helping to prevent people who have a criminal history that indicates they may harm children from working with children.
